Attorney Justin Rosas will be sponsoring and hosting a party for prominent Atlanta Attorney Drew Findling at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL's) 2018 Annual Meeting & Seminar. The event will be held at Loews Miami Beach hotel in Miami, FL from July 26-29, 2018.
Mr. Findling, also known as the #BillionDollarLawyer, will be taking over as President of NACDL. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Findling’s services have been a key ingredient in the success of rap artists like Migos, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka Flame. Subsequently, he has developed an indispensable reputation among Atlanta’s thriving rap community.
Mr. Findling has tallied numerous legal victories and plea deals for an array of high-profile acts. He has also served as a mentor and father figure to the flashy and fast-living clients he has represented. In fact, he first started representing Gucci Mane after the rapper was having issues with drugs. Mr. Findling was able to negotiate a federal plea deal for the rapper and later secured his release from prison. This was a key part of the rapper’s resurgence in the entertainment industry.
Demand for Mr. Findling’s guidance has only increased among musicians and other entertainers, including comedians Mike Epps and Katt Williams, and athletes and reality stars from “Love & Hip Hop.” His activism and comments about racism in the criminal justice system, mass incarceration, prisoner re-entry, and the problems with probation, have only made him more popular among his clientele.
Drew Findling was also one of Attorney Justin Rosas instructors at NCDC in 2012. The two lawyers have attended a number of continuing legal education events together over the years and Justin looks up to Drew for advice and guidance on how to be a lawyer on major, challenging cases.
NACDL's 2018 Annual Meeting & Seminar aims to provide criminal defense attorneys with the resources and information that they will need to craft and litigate winning motions. The event will primarily focus on complex cases involving violent crimes. Attends will be introduced to new perspectives, tools, and strategies that can improve their criminal defense strategies.
